Robert Peter Weiss is Of Counsel to Narvid Scott LLP. He joined the firm in 2005. For the last 32 years he has focused his practice in civil litigation, including real estate, contract dispute, personal injury and professional liability claims. Robert’s diverse clientele includes corporate and individual real estate developers and investors, brokers and agents, automotive businesses, healthcare companies, and various small businesses and professionals.

Robert has litigated numerous complicated business and personal injury lawsuits in state and federal courts throughout California and elsewhere. He has extensive appellate experience and has appeared before the California Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. Robert has also lectured at many venues including several healthcare conferences and the First Annual Brougher Insurance Group Legal Seminar.
Prior to joining the firm, Robert Weiss maintained his own practice after having gained significant trial experience at well-respected law firms in Los Angeles and New York. As a result of Robert’s work as a solo practitioner, he has tremendous experience in a variety of legal matters. He responds immediately and effectively to client concerns. In addition, he is a trained and certified mediator who has participated in the resolution of numerous complex arbitrations and mediations involving business and real estate disputes, breach of contract, construction defect, breach of warranty, boundary and title disputes, mechanics liens, professional liability, fraud and personal injury litigation.
Robert’s vast and varied trial experience makes him a formidable legal advocate whenever litigation is necessary. His trial experience includes real estate and business disputes ranging from five to seven figures. In addition to his trial work, he currently volunteers his services as a mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Outside of practicing law, Robert and his wife have three children and one grandchild, and reside in Tarzana, California. He enjoys basketball, scuba diving, and skiing and for many years was a head coach at the local American Youth Soccer Organization.
